Environmental Policy

Purpose

Your Marketing Machines (YMM) recognises that environmental sustainability is essential to the wellbeing of our communities, our economy, and future generations.  This Environmental Policy outlines our commitment to responsible environmental practices and continuous improvement. It reflects our values and intentions and does not create contractual or legal obligations.

Our Commitment

We are committed to managing our operations in a way that:

• supports environmental sustainability;
  
• minimises negative environmental impact where practicable;
  
• promotes responsible use of resources; and
  
• complies with applicable environmental laws and regulations.

Scope

This policy covers all employees, officers, directors, consultants, contractors, volunteers, interns, casual workers and agency workers.  This policy does not form part of any contract of employment or other contract to provide services, and we may amend it at any time. 

Environmental Principles

We seek to integrate environmentally responsible practices into our day-to-day operations by:

• reducing consumption of energy, water, and paper;
  
• maximising reuse and recycling;
  
• minimising waste and pollution; and
  
• considering environmental impacts when making operational decisions.

Sustainable Ways of Working

Where practicable, YMM supports:

• digital-first work practices to reduce printing;
  
• remote and hybrid working arrangements;
  
• virtual meetings in place of unnecessary travel; and
  
• responsible travel choices when travel is required.

Procurement and Suppliers

We aim to work with suppliers and service providers who demonstrate responsible environmental practices.  Where practicable, we consider:

• local sourcing;
  
• sustainable or recycled materials; and
  
• environmentally responsible products and services.

Continuous Improvement

We recognise that environmental sustainability is an ongoing journey. We commit to:  

1. reviewing this policy periodically;
   
2. identifying opportunities for improvement; and
   
3. encouraging awareness and responsible behaviour across our organisation.
   

Governance and Review

This policy is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and aligned with organisational priorities and applicable laws.
